Melas (Sugar Beet Molasses)
Karataş Feed is one of Turkey’s largest molasses suppliers. It sells approximately 100,000 tons annually and also exports regularly to Europe.
Molasses, thanks to its high energy value, binding properties, and palatability, is an indispensable feed ingredient in the livestock industry. It also plays a critical role in the yeast and fermentation industries.
With three modern terminals located in Bandırma and Kırklareli, it has a total liquid storage capacity of 60,000 tons. Furthermore, thanks to its extensive tanker fleet of 45 vehicles, it offers its business partners fast, reliable, and flexible logistics services.
Feed Phosphates (MCP & DCP)
Calcium phosphate consists of calcium and phosphorus, minerals essential for healthy animal growth, bone development, energy metabolism, and reproduction. Thanks to its high bioavailability, animals easily absorb these nutrients, increasing their productivity.
The Bandırma Feed Phosphate Facility, formerly known as Rotem Turkey, holds a leading position in the sector with its modern production lines and robust technical infrastructure. The facility has a production capacity of 60,000 tons of feed phosphate per year. The facility also possesses the technology to convert technical-grade phosphoric acid into a product that meets feed standards.
Its 2,000 MT of indoor storage space ensures uninterrupted supply to our business partners.
High-quality feed phosphates produced from first-class phosphoric acid are subjected to comprehensive tests in the facility’s on-site laboratories before and at all stages of production, ensuring compliance with international standards and legal regulations.
