MONODICAXIUM PHOSPHATE (MDCP)
Monodicalcium phosphate (MDCP) is a mineral-based feed raw material used in feed production and animal nutrition as a phosphorus and calcium source with a high utilization rate.
Adding MDCP to feed rations effectively meets the phosphorus and calcium requirements of farm animals, supporting improved growth performance, skeletal development, reproductive efficiency, and feed utilization rates. Phosphorus is essential for many vital biological processes, primarily ATP synthesis, energy metabolism, nucleic acid formation, and bone development.
MDCP production is based on the direct reaction of phosphoric acid and calcium oxide. Both raw materials are carefully selected for their suitability for animal nutrition. This gives the product the following distinctive characteristics:
• Highly digestible mineral phosphorus
• Excellent phosphorus bioavailability
• Balanced calcium/phosphorus ratio
• Low chloride content
• Slightly acidic pH
• Low heavy metal levels
• Homogeneous particle size
• Low moisture content
The raw materials and the final product undergo strict quality control and are stored under appropriate conditions to prevent the risk of contamination. The final product is dried using natural gas at controlled and low temperatures. This process prevents contamination and phosphorus retrogradation, preserving phosphorus bioavailability and digestibility. The production process is environmentally friendly and does not generate any chemical waste.
